Film Production Program

Students in this field will be intensively introduced to the most important key and practical issues related to filmmaking.

  • Each program includes 6 main modules taught over two 6-month semesters.
  • Each semester includes 3 specialized modules covering multiple subjects.
  • Total training time throughout the year is approximately 153 hours.
  • Each class meets once a week for 1.5 hours.
  • Classes are held on Thursdays — each day includes three 90-minute sessions.
  • Each semester consists of 17 weeks of training.
  • Semester 1 begins: September 15
  • Semester 1 ends: January 15
  • Semester 1 exams: January 20
  • Semester 2 begins: February 15
  • Semester 2 ends: June 15
  • Semester 2 exams: June 20
  • Graduation Ceremony: July 10
  • This program includes an official Certificate of Completion in English.
  • Graduates have priority for membership in the college’s professional associations and academic clubs.
  • Tuition per semester: $300

  • Intro to filmmaking tools

Semester 1
Directing

Sundays: 10–12 AM

  • Actor body language and direction
  • Scene design and découpage
  • Director’s coordination with crew
  • Film analysis from the director’s view

Semester 1
Screenwriting

Tuesdays: 8–10 AM

  • Three-act screenplay structure
  • Character and dialogue design
  • Scene and location writing
  • Editing and rewriting

Semester 2
Cinematography & Framing

Sundays: 8–10 AM

  • Camera and lens basics
  • Composition and angles
  • Creative lighting
  • Camera movement & visual language

Semester 2
Editing & Sound Design

Sundays: 10–12 AM

  • Conceptual and rhythmic editing
  • Editing software introduction
  • Sound design and mixing
  • Music and effects in storytelling

Semester 2
Visual Effects

Tuesdays: 8–10 AM

  • Intro to VFX & SFX differences
  • Green screen & compositing
  • Popular VFX software
  • Creating simple digital scenes
